At The Renaissance School of Dance, our jazz dance classes are all about energy, fun, and building strong technical skills. Starting with our Dancely Ministars program for little ones as young as 3, we introduce the basics of jazz dance in a playful and engaging way, perfect for sparking a love of movement. As students progress, they can explore more advanced techniques and dynamic routines in our Totally Teen Jazz classes, tailored for older dancers who want to refine their skills and push their boundaries.

It’s great for improving flexibility, strength, and coordination, while also boosting confidence and stage presence. For those wanting to take their jazz technique to the next level, it blends beautifully with other styles like contemporary, which emphasizes fluidity and emotional expression, or acro, which builds strength and agility for more advanced tricks and movements. Our musical theatre classes also pair well with jazz, as students learn to combine dance with singing and acting to bring stories to life. Even our Bollywood classes complement jazz by introducing rhythm, energy, and expressive choreography.
